Important Information

Coming and Going:

Parents are responsible for transportation to and from camp. Arrangements for groups may be made through various local ministries. Please, DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN BEFORE 2:00 p.m. on the first day; and please PICK THEM UP PROMPTLY BY 12:00 p.m. on THE LAST DAY. Thank You.

To All Campers and Counselors who have vehicles at Camp Life:
-You are not to leave the property or go to your cars unless Camp Life Administrative Staff has authorized each instance.

What to Bring: (Be prepared for cold, hot, or wet weather!)

Bedding: sleeping bag or blankets and sheets, and a covered pillow. Clothing: Modesty is the guideline; six changes of socks and underwear; shorts, pants, shirts, tops, pajamas, sweatshirts, jacket, raingear, one-piece bathing suit, appropriate footwear, towels, soap, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, insect repellent, flashlight, Bible, notebook and pens. (All items must be marked with camper’s full name.) Campers may want to bring items such as tennis rackets, roller blades, street hockey sticks, fishing poles, cameras.

What Not to Bring:

We desire that camp be a place for young people to retreat from their everyday routine and from the worldly distractions of today’s society. Therefore, we ask that they may not have any type of electronic device. As a rule, this includes any type of item that can send, receive, or play a phone call, DVD, Internet, or music. These items include, but are not limited to, cell phones, pagers, beepers, laptops, computers, televisions, DVD players, Blackberrys, ipods, and video cameras. These items will be confiscated and held, with no liability for their safety, until the end of the camp program.

Medical Statement:

It will be required of every camper to have a signed legible statement from their physician stating their current medical condition, medications and indicate that these conditions have been stable at least 3 months prior to camp. Campers with serious medical conditions will also need to bring a copy of a physician exam done no more than 30 days prior to start of camp.
